Required Skills:
1. Experience using DCSA systems such as e-QIP, NP2 and CVS/PIPS
2. Experience initiating and reviewing DCSA e-QIP submissions
3. Prior personnel security experience required
4. Strong preference for candidates with previous federal contracting experience

Daily responsibilities:
1. Assist CMS with all aspects of front-end background investigation processing for the CMS population.
2. Enter data into CMS processing systems including but not limited to; The Case Management System, Security Manger, IDMS, SCMS, and the Enterprise User Administration (EUA) Front-End Interface (EFI).
3. Enter data into the e-QIP system for processing from initiation to completion for the CMS population, including conducting a quality review of the information submitted and communicating with the customer, in-person, by email, and/or phone, to ensure proper completion of the e-QIP.
4. Access the DCSA CVS/PIPS database to review customer’s prior investigation information, screen-shot the case and adjudication status in order to update and upload into the customer’s Security Manager profile and provide to Federal Personnel Security Specialists for further review.
5. Ensure Foreign National customers present documents that provide Federal work authorization to upload into Security Manager and to provide the work authorization expiration date for credential processing."
- Everything is automated, no paper, have a team that does e-qip initiation
- Once person subs eqip, it will be handed over to processor, they will review entries, look for discrepancies, contact applicant if anything is missing, once everything is packaged up, submit to CMS federal employees and then release to DCSA for background investigation
- 150-200 cases in their que at a time,
- Security manager (case management system they use)
- Want them to be familiar with some case management system, ideally combo of security manager and excel (all notes need to be captured in Security Manager)
- Good with Outlook
- Need to know how to go into e-QIP
- Good comm skills, organized, work as a team
- Someone that has background investigation experience from DCSA
